Apricot Sauce Recipes

Apricot Stuffing:  Make an 8 ounce mixture of chopped, dried fruit such as apricots, papayas, pineapple, apples, golden raisins, mangos, pears… your choice.  Add a few of your favorite nuts, walnuts or pecans are especially delicious!  Mix with 1 cup Apricot Sauce and stuff a chicken, Cornish Game Hen, pork loin or even winter squash.  You can also simply spoon over a cooked pork chop or chicken breast.

Apricot Roast:  Put a 3-4 pound pork roast in a crock pot with 1 medium diced onion, kosher salt, fresh cracked pepper, and 12 oz Apricot Sauce.  Cook slowly for 4 to 5 hours, until meat is tender and easily pulls apart.

For an exciting new twist to a favorite condiment, add any ONE of the following to ½ cup of Apricot Sauce and use your imagination!
 - 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar or 1 tablespoon honey
 - 1-2 tablespoons orange marmalade
 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
 - 3 tablespoons hot Chinese mustard.
